Hmm...

I'm tired.  Unpaid overtime blows.  And I'd like to have a serious sit-down with whoever scheduled this much work during Oregon's 2 weeks of summer...

Otherwise, life is good.  My apartment is moving towards a more upscale, organized appearance.  I got my overhead costs down so I'm making progress on debt and savings for a house.  I've been keeping busy every weekend, with more stuff to do than I can fit in (compared to life in Iowa... where I had to scrounge to find anything to do).

Trying to fit in time to work on projects... like getting my 1986 GTI through DEQ.  I can spend a $1000 I don't have on carbs and just git 'er done, or I can spend less on fuel hardware to get through DEQ, but I'm just going to yank said hardware off when I build my hotrod motor.  The car also needs a driver's seat... the frame on the existing one is cracked.  I just hope I don't get in a wreck with it like this, because it'll probably give way.  Nevermind getting it painted anytime soon...  I think I want to spray it myself, but I need my own garage for that, not an apartment garage.

Anyway, also trying to get to one of these meetups for drinks... work keeps getting in my way.  So what's this gig on the 7th?  Chuckles said something about "Elizabeth" being in town?  Are we talkin' about Ms. Raab from the photo studio in Seattle?  Sounds like a good excuse to come hang out, and next week is one of my Fridays off, so hangin' out Thursday night won't create an issue with getting up the next morning.

Hi Dan, good job on the debt progress. I can relate. I've nailed a ton of it in the past four month, getting close. 

He's a talkin' about the lovely and talented Miss Raab alright. We're hoping to be graced by her presents on the 7 of Aug. We'll still hook up none the less. You should come out. I'll scotch ya
