i also remember joining TOB when i got my first monster....i was looking for information on the tail chop.

things i "don't" remember include,

-why AZ and i avoided the fallout between Herb and allie when they got in trouble..

-what Monsterlover had before his current avatar (which he has had since way back to the boobies thread i think)

-where Toasty was for 3 months during the spring of 2008

-what happened on the first night of the first DIMBY

I'll comment on what I know personally

My avatar has always been Tiffany Lang on the red 900 (which was my first Ducati)  I don't see a reason to mess with success, so it will likely always be her.

The first night of dimby saw a ton of drinking.  When lethe and I showed up at midnight after riding all day, everyone was just about shut down for the night.  We gave them (some of them) a second wind.  We ate burgers and drank beer and it was awesome

I remember when this was all just an email list.

I remember the creation and destruction (crash) of the first board, the death of a great board and the birth of something great (this board).

It was pretty hilarious behind the scenes in the Mod Lounge.

I was coerced (thanks, DP  ) into becoming a moderator to attempt to salvage the local board for Denver (to no avail) and had only been one for a short time.

One day, all of the mods started handing in their badges.  And then promptly given a link to here.

We met the first time at the monthly DML gathering at the zeitgeist in SF in June of '05.  I posted about a lame little crash I had in late October and she PMed me to see if I was okay. So I asked her out. The rest is history. A true DML love story.
