So more made it back than expected.  I guess they are reluctant to kill of popular characters now.


I read a note online last week that the show feels more like fan fiction than the great SOIF we had gotten used to.  Last night's episode thoroughly proved that me.  Nevertheless, was fun to watch, if a bit ridiculous at times (Rodrick could run to the wall, a raven could be sent, and Dany saddle up and fly off, all in like 12 hours...24 max???  Perhaps if Westeros in it's entirety were the size of Rhode Island.)

I predicted Thoros, was hoping Beric would die too with his crappy fire sword.

We truly don't know how many days passed between Gendry making to the Wall, but regardless, it would have been idiotic for them to survive more than a day with an army of dead people surrounding them.

If they would have extended the first 20 minutes of that episode, mainly when the war party is talking, to the full hour, it would have been the episode of the season. Tormund and the Hound talking about Brienne was awesome!
