Been on two wheels of some sort or another my whole life.  This is my first Italian bike and my first brand new bike as well.  It's a strange and wonderful feeling for me to be riding something no one else has ever owned.  So far I love the bike and mods and upgrades are coming along nicely.  I hope to meet many new Monster\Ducati friends along the way.

I keep hovering on the fence about the looks of the new gen monsters... But that one's sharp - can't deny it. The matte metallic grey frame with the black is something!

Funny, I was just the opposite, I had always just "kinda" liked the monster until I laid eyes on this model year.  For some reason I was able to picture in my mind of the "final product" and fell in love...

That and I rode every other model on he showroom floor and the Monster just seemed to be the best fit for me and my riding style.  I was amazed that the dealer offered test rides let alone had such a selection of models available to do so.  I grew up in a different world where bike shops cringed at the idea of letting a customer test ride anything.
