Has anyone tried these?  They look like Held gloves to me, but I have know way of knowing the quality, so any feedback would be cool.

I have had these for almost two years. They are my first pair of moto gloves. So except for a pair of insulated and waterproof Alpinestars I bought last year. I have nothing to compare them to.

That being said, I do love them. I would say the quality is A+.

The only thing to go wrong with them is on the left glove. The middle grip strip on the Index (pointer) finger tip came off. This started to happen about two months ago. This is only cosmetic damage from using the clutch lever. I use engine braking more than the brakes. Hell, for that matter I shift more than I use the brakes. (I guess most people do.)

They are fairly comfortable, and provide excellent feel and dexterity. You can thank the Kangaroo palms for that. They are size L. The XL was slightly to long/big.

Mine are the Black/Silver/Grey ones. The silver is on the index finger and under the white leather on the middle finger. (Why did they put the white on the middle finger? My theory is to make it stand out more when you are letting cagers know they have done something stupid. [roll] ;D) The grey is gunmetal gray. It is almost a perfect match to my Alpinestars Spinner jacket I bought at the same time.

I give them.  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

I hope this helps.

Just what I was looking for thanks.  How are they temp wise in hot and cold weather.  I've never had gloves with vents on the fingers.

I would say they are comfortable between 65 - 85 degrees. They are most comfortable (for me) in the 70's.
Temps below 65 start to be greatly affected by wind chill. BRRRRRR! (That is why I bought the Alpinestars Storm Rider Goretex Gloves.)
I think I have only ridden in them once when it was above 90. They were warm, but not uncomfortable enough to be distracting while riding.

The only vents are located:
1. on the middle and ring fingers between the hand and 2nd knukle.
2. a breathable material between the middle and ring finger. This vent only works if you ride with two fingers on the brake/clutch levers. Otherwise your fingers are together blocking the wind.
3. back of the hand behind and underneath the knukle guard.

I wore these gloves for a season.  If you ride in warm/hot climate, like I do, I would reccomend cleaning and treating the leather regularly.  These were extremely comfortable initially, but as the salt and oils from my hands penetrated the leather, the gloves shrank to the point of noticible discomfort - even for track riding.

My inability to restore proper fit, and mixed reviews (by others) after crashing (often citing failure of externally stitched seams) led me to abandon and try another brand.   All in all, I did like these quite a bit.  Still don't have the perfect gloves yet.

^ that's good to know.

looking at the high ends to replace my A* SPS pretty soon. I liked the feel of 'em, and they fit me better than most of the other gloves I tried. Held would've been perfect if the thumb wasn't so damn long...

my hands seemed the happiest in A*, racer, and taichi gloves...

I had worn the waterproof version all winter long.  They were extraordinary - excellent feel for insulated/waterproof gloves.  I've had no problems with changing shape.
