Did you ever run into clearance problems with the 6" width and 520 chain?  I'm supposed to be getting my BST's soon.

There is more clearance to the 190 tire (a 180 shouldn't be run on a 6.0 rim even tho it can be listed on some sites) with the 520 than the stock 525. About a 1/16 - 1/8 inch. The problem you will run into is the clearance between the wheel and the swingarm (at the brace transition to the rear hub). I had only 1/8 inch!! And if the chain needed to be adjusted (it did after a few rides) I had no room to do so! So I needed to replace the sprockets in a combination that would move the wheel forward and allow room for future adjustments. I decided to do a 520 quick change conversion in the process.

Maybe I'm not understanding, you said clearance between the wheel and swingarm (where the front part of the wheel meets the swingarm on the left side) after streching a new chain wouldn't you be moving it rearward and not forward?  I've never done this before, also I've got the same model (S4Rs testretta) where did you source your 520 quick change conversion from?  Appreciate the time and help.

I went from a 14/43 & 104 link chain to a 15/45 & 104 link chain. This shortens the distance and requires the chain eccentric to be adjusted forward to make enough slack to get the chain on the larger sprockets. The clearance issue was at the left side of the wheel where it passes close to the swingarm brace as it transitions downward to the hub eccentric. Capish?

I bought my stuff from Sprocket Center.

EDIT: I originally bought a 46 in the "kit" from Sprocket Center but that wouldn't fly on a 104 link chain, had to source the 45 from Munroe...
