Actually, another post mentioned this... the flounders are working hard to stabilize the site at the moment (not to mention their day jobs!).

I've contacted someone with an awesome bike about BOMb. He's got a great gallery of pics. We're doing a mockup of the text this week, & will present it to an admin (Sqweak) hopefully with a few days for 'fine tuning'.

You know what we should do ?
Instead of having a multi page thread with repeating pictures and comments , we should have a server that hosts an image gallery with one or two pics from every user.
The "Bike of the Moment" could just read the content from this location and voila.
Just let me know if you are interested...I think I can have some space on the server I use for my personal gallery.

I understand what you are saying,... but the BOMb also needs to have text with it in each case... it's almost like a magazine layout: 8 or 10 pictures, text describing both the history of the bike & the history of the owner etc.

But you're idea is similar to one I've been tossing around. I think it would be an excellent idea if we had a thread which contained 100s of bike photos - many from each member. That way, people could just sort of cruise through, get an idea of what other people have done. Or people like me could use it as a resource for DMF videos.
