i skipped a lot of reading so this may not be a round trip kind of thing and the following may not apply:


if you are looking for a return trip path, I can help you find couches (or even spare bedrooms) in Houston, Dallas, Austin, Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville and Atlanta and out-in-the-boonies-North-Carolina.    (I would imagine it difficult for you to get as far south as Houston, Austin, or Atlanta on your way back East, but you never know...  )
