well. Unforuntely my bike decided to take a crap. I lost power  as i left columbus and ive managed to trace it to having no spark. The engine is turning, i have gas. All the spark plugs check out (main, and the regular ones). So im thinking the little box is fried. Both cylinders are not firing.

yup. Kill switch is disengaged. The motor will spin, but will no combustion occurs. It jusr turns. Pulled the plugs. No spark.

its worst than i thought. i pulled the timing sensor. and the layshaft gear/sprag gear is not spinning, hence no spark.

so the motor is basically dead until i figure out what is causing it to not spin.

So the starter sounds like it's turning, but the motor is not?

the starter is moving. the flywheel is moving, and the clutch pressure plate is spinning. but the sprag gear is not spinning.

what about the sprag clutch? if the sprag clutch is damaged should the prssure plate spin?

which solenoid would you be refering to? Right now im pegging it as a mechanical problem because the sprag gear is not spinning.

You may want to think about pulling the left side cover.

You can lay the bike on its right side to save the oil that's in there.

You'll need some sealer to put it back together with no leaks.

i alraedy have teh bike leaned up against the wall and the side cover is about to come off once i get a steering wheel puller from autozone.

my only issue is how to get to the sprag gear since i dont have a cluthc holding tool. and im not sure if auzone has one.
