Update...
Body is fine now, no pain anyway.  Slight black and blue in my lower stomach but that's it.  Finger scabbed up, but it's fine.

Got the call back from Ducati of Newport beach on the damage estimate:

$2700 :P

But they said that's to get it to factory/pristine condition.  There was a fingernail sized scratch on the muffler and it's $1100.  Same with a few other things like the sliders.  I told them that I wanted to get it to safe rideable condition for now and then I can slowly get some aftermarket pieces.

I told them to replace the handlebar clamp, the one mirror, and order me some nice aftermarket clutch/brake levers.  So that's what they're doing to do.  That should be less than $1K total with labor.  Not bad.  What is bad is I get the bike back at the end of the week and that means driving to work during that time.  That's like a ton of gas ugh.

could have buy all that stuff (levers and clamps) and install it yourself...

don't know about you, but it feels good when I get to work on my bike.

Glad you made it thru the ordeal relatively unharmed.  Look at the bright side, this is a good opportunity for upgrades/bling!

You are absolutely right.  I've worked on all my vehicles myself from simple brake swaps to total engine swaps.  I only want them to get the handlebar clamp in so I can ride it home.  The other parts will just be given to me most likely.

ah...okay. sorry i wasn't clear if you would have the dealer do all that for you (replacing the clamp and levers).   [thumbsup]
