Well I can't say that my Ducati ownership experience has been rosey but I think I've got everything working now.  Back to the reason I posted though...I sold my 2011 Harley Road Glide today.  I loved the bike and put 10k miles on it in the 1.5 years I owned it and I think that Harley has a great product with the Road Glide but it was time to move on.  My wife doesn't ride and if I'm going to have that kind of money in a bike that only I ride, it's going to be a Duc.  I bought my 2008 S2R 1000 in February and it's left me stranded 3 times but I think I have that worked out.  My wife can't believe that I'd rather have the Ducati but there's something special about them.  They've got a personality that I haven't found in another bike but most importantly, I'm proud to own it.  I'm going to try and wait at least before I buy my next Ducati b/c I want to spend some time on the Monster and bling it out a bit.  I'm thinking the next Duc will be a Diavel but we'll see...

That's a pretty awesome realization! I too went from a Harley (1996 1200 sporty) to a ducati ( 2009 696 monster) and will never look back! All other bikes..... just dont look as awe inspiring as a duck! Either way, I'm just happy to see people geared out & riding, no matter what they're on!
Rabble Rabble Rabble Blah Blah Blah I'm a curly headed beast with two backs
