I bought a set of 749/999 Master Cylinders a long time ago.
Upon installing them, I had major problems trying to fit them on my clipons; the coffin reservoirs rubbed against the forks, headlight bracket, brackets on the clipons themselves, etc.

So I  converted them to cup reservoirs.

It is an easy job;

1) Buy Parts - I'm sure you can find them all over the internet, but I got mine from yoyodyneti.com
a) (2) 110.3127.20 | Line Adapter - 90 Deg Brembo | http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=110.3127.20
b) (2) 105.3387.10 | Bleed screw M10x1.0 | http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=105.3387.10
c) (2) Cup reservoirs
d) Appropriate tubing rated for brake fluid

2) Remove the 6mm bleed screws from inside the coffin reservoirs
3) Remove the 8mm(?) hex head screws that the 6mm bleed screws threaded into from inside the coffin reservoirs
4) Detach the coffin reservoirs from the master cylinders
5) Thread in the new bleed screws
6) Remove the old rubber seals from the master cylinders where the reservoir attached
7) Press the 90* fitting into the new rubber seals provided
8) Press in the rubber seal and 90* fittings into the master cylinders
9) Mount master cylinder assemblies on your handle bars
10) Figure out a mounting solution for the cups
11) Attach hoses
12) Bleed brakes

Can we see a closer shot of the adaptation?

Nice work BTW...
