Afternoon folks,

After 16 year hiatus, I was able to get back to my passion and start riding again.  Purchased a 2009 Aprilia Shiver new last October, and have been on cloud 9 ever since.  Mainly interested in group rides with others in the central, and potentially northern Virginia areas.  Also, just interested in European machines in general and am looking to pick up tips as they come up.

Anyway, a pleasure to be here, and I'm looking forward to being a member.

Show up at Poe's Pub this Sunday at 9:30 - 10 AM and snoop around. Only group rides I know are slow-ish and organized by the BMW club which has riders of every type of Euro machine. If I can get out of the sack, I'll be there on my 796 with Pantah skins. Should be a decent turnout for "Bikes in the Bottom" since no rain is forecast, only HOT and sunny. The Triumph guys will show and maybe a lot more. Introduce yourself around.
