Following the rectifier over charging and frying the battery and a couple of micro chips on the circuit board for the clocks and reading several post on the subject of over heating rectifiers I manufactured a mounting plate for the new rectifier and removed the plastic crank case breather box and put it in the bin. Having seen were it was mounted on a gsxr and also also another contributor on this forum mounting it in the same place I decided to do the same and here are a few pics of the completed job. I cost about a euro for materials and about an hour in time.

Any pics of it before you installed it?  Looking for a better view of the bends and shape.  Thanks.

Sorry didn't take any photos before I fitted it but I can give you dimensions if that helps width 150 mm length 180 mm height of the bends is 15 mm the front upright is 55 mm. I used the existing mounting bolts for the crank case breather box for the rear of the bracket and used the mounts for the tank hinge for the front of the bracket and as you have a blank piece of sheet Ali you can drill the holes for the rectifier to clear any thing underneath. Hope this helps Heath.
