Shark cage diving should be banned !
Yes it would be awesome to see a great white up close in safety film it and post it up on your facebook page  [roll].
But from someone who has seen one face to face in the wild without a cage while surfing
in South Australia I am lucky to be still here.
What this tourist activity is doing has increased the frequency of human attacks expediently .
So you lay a burly trail out of blood, fish oil and chum to attract a shark he/she swims along the trail and oh look here what's at the end of it a human.
It has been well documented in South Africa the increased frequency of attacks post cage diving and there is a push there to ban it.
We have had a lot of attacks recently by huge great whites in Western Australia lately one two days ago actually who luckily survived but when your dealing with a five meter plus animal in a lot of cases there is nothing left to bury.
These animals return to known feeding sources and now there are sharks on the WA coast that are not just biting and releasing when realising that you are not a seal they are eating people , and it usually only takes two bites .

^^^ I think it's more a cause of the booming Seal population.
