Tundra's role in the mission to move Endeavour from LAX to the California Science Center changed somewhat.

The trucks and hauling dollies were too heavy for the bridge across the 405 freeway, so at that point, the shuttle was transfered to a lighter dolly and the Tundra pulled Endeavour across the freeway.

Yes, I watched the above clip myself. the tundra pulled it a very short distance but pulled it non the less. the actual Dollies that the shuttle sits on are powered themselves and for the most part moved it most of the distance. of course in the beginning you see the tow mule which probably has less horsepower/torque than the tundra.

I don't foresee any durability issues with the Tundra.  After all, it will be on display at the science center as part of an ongoing exhibit.

And the plan all along was for the Tundra to only tow Endeavour a short distance.
