Probably sustained at 40+ here out west of Philadelphia, as of 1530. Power still on - that's a miracle...gonna be a mess.

As of the last radar track, it looks as if the storm is almost moving due west, straight towards DC.  HOORAY!

Just got word a little while ago that all of the bridges in NYC have been closed.

I bought a vehicle on Long Island and it was supposed to be headed south tonight.

I was really hoping it'd make it out of there ahead of the storm.

I really hope all of my DIMBY friends and everyone in general up north are safe and sound. Hurricanes are no joke. Y'all are in our thoughts and prayers through the storm and the recovery.  :-\
