Now I know what I am going to ask Santa for!
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

By no means the same as a dry clutch, but I guess watching the oil spin around will be entertaining.  ;)

Dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit.  Just when I thought I was done for now.

I have to pull my left side engine case off anyway, so I sent them an email asking what they wanted just to machine and blast the surface of my clutch cover.  The parts themselves are going on fleabay for $150-$200, so hopefully I can get him down to the $300 range.  Still pricey, but it's a pretty unique mod.

Damn, I feel your pain.  Its very pricey just to see a clutch basket spin.  When you reply back to the guy, maybe see if a group buy would be a possibility with a lower cost?

Keep us posted.

Guy won't get back to me.  I wonder if it was something I said  :)

In their description they say they will do a 'core exchange' or do the mod to one provided to them for a lower price... So if that's what you were asking for, and it seems so, dunno why they might be fussed.

I'm wondering if over time the clear plexi material will go "milky" and look like crap.  I'm also hesistant because of the lack of strength in the event of a crash.

Such covers have been used for years on Japanese sport bikes.  I've never heard of complaints of the plexiglass going opaque, but then I never asked.
