Then it would have been an affront to the goodness of the chocolate.

Hormonal fat pregnant doges everywhere would stop work to protest the cruelty toward chocolate.

They would clog the streets like stalled semi's.

They would effectively bring civilization to its knees.

All because you put chocolate on turkey "bacon."

Of course, then it'd hit like 75 degrees outside and they'd get all sweaty and just say "make the beast with two backs it" and go back inside.

But for those harrowing 25-30 minutes, the entire future would be very, very bleak.
