Last night while I was Watching Julie & Julia with the wife, I came to a realization. If you haven't seen the movie its about a woman that  blogs about Julia Childs cook book. In the story she cooks over 500 recipes, in 365 days. And not just any recipes, All of the ones in the book are French recipes. Julia Childs wrote a 700 page book of French recipes translated into English while she lived in France with her husband way back in the day. During the movie an important fact was brought out that I think all of already know but maybe aren't consciously aware. That is...Most everything tastes better with Butter. Not to down play Bacon. Bacon is good. Bacon is Bacon and I know we all love Bacon. I mean who in their right mind wouldn't. But Butter is also very good and I think we all know that.
