Sluggo stole the UPS package off my doorstep and took the mail from the curbside box while he was at it. Or maybe it was Sluggo, Jr.

Net haul for him was a few pieces of junk mail, maybe a utility bill, Season 2/ Disc 3 DVD of Boardwalk Empire from Netflix, and my MTS 1200 center stand, just back from SpeedyMoto after having its lever arm newly shortened (mod takes the lever pedal out of the way of the rider's left heel when hanging off in left-handers). For that he risked state and federal penalties. Idiot!

Chances are good he will get caught by Carrollton PD doing something else, by which time my center stand will long since have made a pretty Christmas ornament for the city dump - unless he was environmentally-conscious enough to toss it in someone's recycling can.

In keeping with the season, I just got these glad tidings of comfort and joy - UPS authorized the claim, and SpeedyMoto is going to send me a new center stand with the lever mod.

But I have learned my lesson: from now on I am changing all parcel deliveries to "Will Call"!
