Congratulations on taking a big step.  Here's hoping your anxiety shrinks and your math skills grow.

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

I had a couple of false starts with math classes.  The Kiss of Death for me was falling behind. My unsolicited and free advice is to really pay attention, don't miss any classes and don't let anything go past you or over your head.  If you don't understand something, raise your hand and ask for an explanation or talk to the teacher after class.  I think one advantage of a community college is that teachers at the community colleges are generally teaching because they like to teach and are better teachers and care about their students, compared to professors at universities who are there to publish technical papers.

I ended up taking and passing whole lot of serious math classes and I think half my battle was forcing myself to pay serious attention.

I really like your Eating a Frog term and I'm gonna use it as a teachable moment to point out to my wife that she has some frogs she should eat.

Here's an excellent tutorial, maybe after watching it two or three times you could cancel your  math class.  Wish I'd seen it earlier on before wasting so much time in school.
