SWEEEEEET paint job!!!   WHO DID IT??

Thanks to a recommendation from an "anonymous source"  [roll], I used:

"Scotty" of
Clark Brothers Paint & Body
Address:   2260 W Pioneer Pkwy # A, Pantego, TX 76013
Phone: (817) 860-0183

Until we get the decals and final clear coat finished up, you'll have to take my word for it - his work looks great!!

Ambition is a poor excuse for not having sense enough to be lazy.

Jim, I've done the tail chop, grips and handle bars/clip-ons mods.  Love to help; let me know  ;D

Do you have the adjustable "dog bone" link/suspension piece on the swing arm?

I'm no mechanic or anything, but I'll come over and drink your beer, and for a few extra $$ I'll harass the help

Depending on where you want to buy the paint from...

Ducati 848 owner's manual says:
Pearl white, code 490019 (PPG) [base color]
Transparent, code 228.880 (PPG) [top clear coat]

ColorRite says:
http://www.colorrite.com/product/ducati-pearl-white-2103.cfm
Color Rite Base 1606
ColorRite Top 7606

I'm not sure if it does.  I'm not sure what it would look like?  Here's the only pic I have handy of that area of the bike.  Is this what you're talking about?

Hmmm, yeah that's it.  Your bike doesn't look like it has a link like the one I was talking about... Could be wrong  ???

Don't raise it, highway pegs and drag bars [thumbsup]

Can't wait to see the photos of this bike.  Guess I am a little sentimental because it was my first motorcycle!  Lindy, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!  I think the white will be really hot!  Excellent choice!

that's the older style hoop suspension.  There's a bit of adjustment in the ends

Thanks!  Are there any alternatives if the "bit of adjustment" isn't enough?

You can get some added height from the spring/shock, if you end up adjusting the preload to a ridiculous point, you may end up needing a new spring.

and of course, the front can go down instead too..

the saddle height on the SC are pretty high, especially with the wide seat.  Buy her one of those nifty things and sell the M600 to the short chick down the block..........I think her name was spacey tracey?  I dunno I'm not good with names.
