Hello again...thanks again for the advice I'm always gleaning from here...I'm sure it will be archived and be of use to future surfers...

I'd like to chop my fender, just like "Slauster"'s here:

I was going to use the age old choppers trick of using the tip off the excess to trace the radius, but this radius is WAY cleaner, way nicer imo. I love the way it flows perfectly from the arm of the fender.

Easy trick for tracing this radius? Protracter/parallelogram? I suck at geometry. Cutting it and cleaning it up will be the easy part.

'tanks!

Thanks man...I just pm'd you but this was one of the easiest mods i did.  I just took a spare fender, some half inch electrical tape, used the arms as my starting point, found the radius I wanted (through trial and error) and once I was happy, grabbed my dremmel and cut away.  Nothing hi-tech about this one at all.

heh, just got your PM thanks. :). I think I'll try sketching it with a grease pencil. Just figured I'd ask, that chop looks way better than most. I think the arc of the fender stock is goofy, not just the length. Cheers
