Gear Guidance for Newb

Update.  Went into a local shop here in Seattle over the weekend and picked up:

1) Scorpion EXO-400. $140 Decent reviews online, and seemed to perform as good if not better than the EXO-700 in the Motorcyclist helmet article. Seemed to be only a couple choices at the lower price range, the Scorpions or the HJC.  Scorpion just fit my head a little better.  Took folks advice and sat around in the shop for a good 10-15 minutes while wearing each one. 

2) Icon Super Duty 2 Boots.  $85.  I like the casual styling, comfy, reasonably priced. 

3) Firstgear Navigator Gloves $85.  Comfy, leather, waterproof.  Seemed like a good weight for the typical weather we have from spring to fall here in Seattle. 

All the gear performed great over my MSF course the last two days (which I passed today - woo hoo).  Now to shop for a jacket -- oh, and a first bike.

they are fantastic aren't they...I reckon a nice little addiction to doing courses could be the secret to this game.

Congratulations on the course!  If the helmet was comfortable though the course then you're probably in good shape.
