Front too quick

Thats the right setup for DBR53. The forks can be adjusted in the triple from extending up past the triple and filling up the riser adapters that the clip ons are attached to, or down to just flush with the triple which is stock (leaving the riser adapters empty/hollow inside). If sliding the forks down flush to the triples doesnt help maybe the way you have the clip ons adjusted can be tweaked too, it looks like they are angled kind of sharply back (bringing elbows in), and may or may not be angled down towards the ground too (bringing palms to face eachother)

Glad to know that the set up is correct. Indeed the bars are angled far in - leaving just enough gap from the tank but it is not angled down. Frankly I appreciate the improved ergo now much better as I am not resting half body on the tank. And I am able to sit slightly more upright.

Went for the long ride last weekend. No more back pains upon return and less exhausted. The front don't feel as quick as when I first got it after installing those clip-ons. I guess it could well be me being unused to the new position. I find the bike handled better now but I am still afraid to lean into the corners too much. Again, that could just well be me and my limited skills.

I was at the verge of ordering a set of motowheels triple with the risers plus a more pulled back bar i.e. like the ones on the brutale to help improve my ergo if need be. Looks like this set up works fine for now and I will have to get used to the front feeling slightly quicker than stock.

I'm also having the corbin seat which is 1" lower than stock so I put less weight on the front when I ride. That probably explain why the front felt quick as compared to the stock bar which was lower hence placing half my body weight on the front.

Correct me if I am wrong.....Thanks to ya'll.

Have you popped off one of the caps to see how much tube is filling the riser above the triple?

You can get used to anything but it's best to know what you are getting used to anyway.
