LAPD officers and Torrance officers are not on the same radio frequency. So no, the second set of officers had not heard about the first incident. In fact, the second set was responding to calls of gunfire that had just occurred.

Funny. I just looked at the websites for CNN, abc, and CBS, and they all had headlines about Dorner and the reward for him. No headlines about any of the 3 innocent victims of police shootings so far. Huge surprise.

The reward is new so of course it's a big deal right now. Plus it's a million bucks.

I've read several articles concerning the victims in the past few days. Try checking the local papers instead of national outlets. LA Times, OC Register, Long Beach Press Telegram, etc....
