For some reason I can not find that perfect pair of gloves. I was wearing some cheapies for a long time that I grew to like quite a bit, but were lacking in the safety department. They were leather cruiser style. I got the sedici diavolo(?) gloves and really like the design look and feel of them, but they are pretty much a summer glove. The perforated four nettles flow way too much air in them for the mornings in my neck of the woods (CA coast.) I would really like a good short cuff leather all year round glove. Anybody got something like this? I realize on some of those really cold winters days ill have to use a winter glove. But I typically ride just to work and back. 15min there 15 back

I'm in LA and my commute is about the same as yours. I've had a hard time finding that perfect glove as well.

Which is why I have a couple of pairs, and most likely will add a "winter", for CA, pair.

I wear the Rev'it Monster gloves, pretty much year round. Love 'em but after looking a the Sedici gloves you mentioned, they probably flow just the same. I also wear the Rev'it SLR, they're full gauntlet but non-perferated so they're a bit warmer. I'm looking at these for winter gloves...

And I just came across these...

IMO, it never hurts to have a pair for spring/summer/fall and then another pair for our winter but I doubt you'll find a pair for all four. Unless you don't mind a little sweat during the summer.

Hope this helps [shrug] :-\

Don't mind it being a little warmer for summer, it hardly gets out of the 70's here and rarely gets into the 80's. we'll get a heat wave once a year that lasts a week that gets up to the hundreds, but that's just one week out of the year. I'll take a look at these suggestions, thanks!

Those seem to me that they'd have too much airflow, states they are a summer glove. They look sweet though.

The rev'it h20's seem pretty good! I wonder if they are bulky like a winter glove? Those Klims would be awesome but ouch, little out of my price range. I wish I had something other then a cycle gear locally so I could try some of this stuff on!

Just get a pair of heated grips and continue to wear your summer gloves.

For some reason that just seems so complicated lol

Almost all of the time, I just wear high-end Held gloves (either my Galaxies or Kryptons -- I think they're a generation or two old.  Dunno what Held sells now).  If it's really cold or rainy, I have a pair of thicker, waterproof gloves.  RevIt maybe?  I don't wear them that much.  When it's really cold, a heated vest serves to keep my hands warm.  If you have a warm core, your hands are better off.
