hmmm

frameless WSBK Ducati... a second off the pace... where have I heard those numbers before for the frameless design

zooom

Checa wasn't testing though and he has always been the faster one...and Sykes apparently broke or rebroke his wrist...the whole test for all has apparently been a bit of a crashfest with the new surface...

New surface at PI seems to be pumping out good times. By all accounts it's grippier...

... which allows for faster accidents...

... and bikes to end up ON THE SPECTATORS SIDE OF THE FENCE.

Turn 12 is pretty fast, but.

Is this Yoshimura's 1st year in WSBK? Impressive if they turn it around that fast.

they've run as wildcards in a handful of rounds over the last few years and were working with the crescent guys last year.

fwiw, the "yoshimura japan" team is not the same guys as the "yoshimura r&d of america" running in ama superbike.

it can be a little confusing. ;D

the easiest way to explain it is that the race teams are managed and run completely separate. afaik, the ama guys, the worldsbk guys, and the japanese guys (running world endurance and, i believe, the all japan superbike series) each run independent programs.

interesting thing is that the yosh-engine'd crescent bikes last year didn't really do anything last year.

Must be using some of Mladin's cranks.

What's up with the new surface?
These guys are dropping like flies....
