Used to have a set of these as a two-channel set up when I lived in Hawaii.  Wish I had never sold them.

I've got a full set of Onix Rockets from AV123 (out of business now).  Great speakers.

That I am waiting on him to get sick of and sell to me so I can upgrade my home theater setup...  ;D

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Too bad Mark went to jail...

I thought he *only* ended up with 20 years of probation?

depending on your budget, ie, if it is somewhat limited (like mine), and want to buy new, I really like their amps = www.emotiva.com

I am a fan. I actually own 2 Emotivas myself. But it seems their reliability is hit or miss on some models. Overall, fantastic products for the price.
XPA-1 and XPA-2 I would avoid as well as their XPR (reference) series stuff. Other than that, their UPAs and 3/5 channel XPAs all seem to be great products.

So I went ahead and picked up the B&W 683's and a Denon AVR-2313CI. Ended up with the Denon primarily because that's what the Listen Up here sells and No one in town sells the Pioneer Elite receivers, and I have a severe addiction to instant gratification. My only problem now is that I need to pull out drywall, rerun electrical/signal/etc. and put up proper sound deadening sheetrock and such!  [beer] Still thinking of what to do with the maple floors...

At any rate, I'm thoroughly pleased with my investment, and it's leaps above what I had before. I figure I'll invest in surrounds, sub, centre speakers as time goes by. Thanks for all the recommendations and all the Hi-fi pr0n. I can feel the beginnings of a need to set up a dedicated listening system/space in my spare bedroom already...

You'll get there. Sitting here right now listening to Frank Sinatra Reprise The Good Years
Most likely heading to Denver in the next week or two to pick up a set of Polk Audio SDAs. Not because I don't enjoy the Polk RTAs in the picture but because I want extra options. LOL.
I am not even done. Got a second amp, Peachtree DAC and a turntable to get set up yet.
