Well, I'm gonna be a no-show.  Buddy coming over tomorrow morn to help fix my A/C.  Hot weather and broken a/c take priority over everything.

This can will be my first mod,  love the look, just hoping I can cope with the sound!

The more I ride around with it the less loud it seems.  My initial reaction was based off the stock pipe and it is much louder than that but that's to be expected.  With the insert it just sounds like a loud pipe and you can keep it civil around the neighborhood if you want.  Get on the gas though and it will howl.  My shift points are all screwed up because 4krpm sounds like 8krpm from the old pipes.  I end up short shifting until I relearn the sounds. 

It has a bit of a raw sound to it, which I like.  Some may not.  Not as bad as open pipes though.  My neighbor has a harley and I think the only reason my pipe gets more attention is just because it revs higher so the tone is different.  I feel the dB level is on par with most of the harley pipes.

They still show the Carbon Fiber on their website but it's not an option anymore.  They said the carbon fiber couldn't hold up to the heat generated.

Whats this??? Comp Werkes not selling a crappy product to someone?  Sounds like they should do the same for the fender eliminator kit as well!  lol Sorry to thread jack a little....It just made me chuckle.
