Well she may very well be stupid, but I'll be nice and give her the benefit of the doubt there.  She clearly really became overwhelmed with nerves on the spot like that.  I have had some serious brain farts with public speaking when the waves of nervousness have all of your Synapses firing in exactly the wrong order... lol

personally the whole "what are your thoughts" part of pageants is stupid to me, some sort of thing they put in so that it can be "said" that "its not all about looks".

Agree.  If they want to change perception they probably shouldn't call them "beauty pageants". 

Imagine the other way around: if Jeopardy or spelling bee contestants had to take a moment to prance around in swimsuits, ya know, just to prove they're well-rounded and it's not "all about intelligence".
