The soup story was my favorite.

I think this might be the one Architect referred to:

After hearing the news, like many I'm sure, I went back back and read through some of his old posts.  Brilliant, classy, and insightful man and yet common and crass as the rest of us.  Never saw him turn his sharp wit directly against anyone except the anonymous amorphous "Universal Asshole" we all hate.  I don't post much worthwhile content but I feel the best contribution I ever made to this forum was the thread I started where Rat chose to re-enter the DMF - pretty sure this was his first post since TOB.

I've worked at that same restaurant with those same people and seen the same sort of things.

Good read :)

When RAT unleashed his IKEA rant I immediately understood and felt for the man's palpable frustration.

Still cracks me up....

This one.

I was attempting to relay this story to a friend the other day. Needless to say, I did not tell it nearly as well

I'm enjoying re-reading all of his stories.  He had some awesome ones.

Anyone have the one about Costa Rica and a jeep trip?

Gerry was the first person on my mind this morning....  followed by all the countless, faceless heros....

Wasn't it a cigarette break that allowed him to be with us for a while longer?
