I forgot all about the ST3. That would be an excellent choice too.

MUNCH... That looks like a whole lot of Carbon on that Monster  [thumbsup]
About the same time you're dragging your knees through a series of tight left-right-handers on Sunday afternoon, some guy in white shoes is sweating a 3-foot putt. Go figure.

Here's what you do: Get a 250, and ride it the same way for several hours at a time. Go back to the Monster, and revel in the raw power available at such low revs.  [cheeky]

ha!

If I was on a 250 passing a big truck going 90mph, I think I'd close my eyes and pray.  Please, motorcycle, please don't explode right now.

For me there's some association between how hard the bike is working and how hard my nervous system feels like it's working.  Guys on big harleys go by with their feet up and their bikes going "bub bub bub bub" and you'd think they could fall asleep at any moment.  And I'm hunched over, death gripping the bars in the wind with my little bike going "wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" - by the time I get home I need two beers just to relax.  Like I'm riding a Jack Russell Terrier in a horse race and somehow keeping up.
