I'd be cautious on the NY bikes - remember the flooding from Sandy.

The Kentucky bike... well didn't floor there so I dunno.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

re: the KY bike... noone spells tire with a "y" in kentucky.

however, bikes are cheaper on the east coast. we get less riding time out here than some places like arizona or socal.

Eh, I'm in VA and half the time I spell color colour and grey is always grey... The influences of UK based games companies in my life.

I'd be very cautious of those. My friend once found a 696 on the east coast as well for around 3k, when most others were selling for around 6 to 7 thousand. After contacting the guy selling the bike, we figured it was most likely a scam as he explained how he's out of town so he can't meet, and a moving company is currently holding on to the bike and they'll set up an escrow account to deposit the money in and blah blah blah and bs bs bs.

I followed the links through... and found this gem http://usa.motoseller.com/c/sys.php?a=2&b=3146636

the same phone number also pops up for a bike in San Diego...

Duc is supposedly in upstate NY, area code is in NJ, maintenance was done in CA... I call shenanigans.  Craigslist is more reputable than the stuff I find through oodle.

My bad.... Last DRY CLUTCH is 2011.

whew... I have more choices!!!

Yo're not getting any bike into CA with less than 7500 miles.

i've had more than one friend get a bike from colorado for $2-3k (or more) less than what we'd pay in california.  If you have 2 days to make the trip, it can end up costing less than the price difference.

it pays to look outside your area if you're in an (almost) all year riding area.
