New guy stationed out in Hawaii

What's going on guys, My name is Derek. Bought my first motorcycle a couple days ago (2011 Ducati Monster 796), and I just want to ride. I use to ride pretty often with my dad on one of his Triumphs (2 cruisers). Now that the Navy owns me, I can't ride until everything is legal (never had a license or anything like that). I have been trying to get some ideas for some mods. Already ordered a kit to chop the tail. Next will be some new pipes to get that Ducati sound that I can't get enough of. I think some exhaust wrap is in the near future as well. I hope to learn a lot from you guys.
