New Monster Owner in Maine

Hello from Maine,

I purchased a used 2004 Monster S4R from a guy in Massachusetts.  As a previous Duc owner (2002 ST4s), I tried other bikes (2007 FZ1), but I can't get the desmo out of my system.  Against the wife's wishes, the Monster is now in the garage.  Can't get enough of the 996 motor.

The bike needs some love, including reversing a lowering kit, maintenance, a oil leak was just found, and it's mostly stock.  That just can't stay that way...

Looking forward to getting some of your advise and contributing however I can to the board.

Keep the rubber side down.
