It's called using the clock wisely with good ball management. It wasn't by chance they had final possession.
I'm a Pats fan but agree that Brees is awesome also.

Both have been able to do more with less skilled players around them throughout their careers.

Yes, there are situations near the end of a game (usually when all it takes is a field goal to win) that a coach can decide to run the ball a few times just to run out the clock. However, when a QB sees a play that will get his team down the field, he has to take that shot, even if it means leaving 2 minutes on the clock for the other team to catch up.

Coaches are usually responsible for clock management; QBs execute.

Brady is doing a great job with the receivers he has had this year.

I was stunned last night. turned off both the Pats and the Red Sox in disgust!

guess i should have a little more faith...
