Good question. I guess they can get the play in from the sideline more quickly to give more time to adjust if needed.

Indy @ New England --> Patriots (tough one to call. Who cares anyway  )
San Fran @ Carolina --> Niners (another tough one)
San Diego @ Denver --> Denver (SD doesn't stand a chance)

Picks:

Niners @ Seattle --> Hawks. I like Kaep, but I think Seattle's defense will be the difference and they're tough at home in general. May be the game of the year. Low scoring grind of a game.

Patriots @ Denver --> Patriots. Tough call as I think they're both evenly matched (and overrated), but Brady is clutch in the playoffs, and I think Belichick is a better coach. High scoring shoot-out.

Interesting that the AFC Championship game is between two teams with probably the best of the old school QB's while the NFC game will be between two of the best of the New Era QB's.

It seemed to me that the Niners and Panthers played with visibly more intensity than the Chargers and Broncos.  This is lots of fun and I still can't believe football season has gone by so fast.

Goodell and the NFL may have to change there skivvies---these are the dream Conference Championship matchups from a marketing/popularity perspective.  Gonna be a lot of viewers.
