Hello from the Netherlands

Hi,

My name is René, I live in the Netherlands, I'm 47 years old and yesterday I have bought my first Ducati. It is a orange/black 2006 Monster S2R 800



I have been driving motorcycles since I was 11 years old and although this isn't a 120+ horsepower bike like I used to ride it is the best bike I've had so far. I love the powerband and the characteristic Ducati sound (Still have the OEM silencers but that will change in time). Although the frontsuspension seems a bit weak the handling of the bike is superb. It is a fun-bike on twisty roads.

I hope to learn a lot of new things about Ducati and the Monster S2R in particular here in the forum.
