Have heard/read nothing but good things, bringing my engine to him this week. All this time struggling to find a good place to have my Duc serviced and there it was right under my nose, smh.

Fantastic! That's like being a Karateka and having Chuck Norris live in your street.
Give him the motor [thumbsup].

JD Hord is the biggest (only) names trusted in Honda Hawk GT circles.

Damn nice guy, and damn good at what he does.

Thanks for the affirmation.

Really sucks I had no idea he was so close all this time, espec given what I've been through.  [bang] And that I discover him the last year I'll be living in OH.

Surprising that the extra 50cc make all that difference. Hope he replaced the brakes.  :o

I'd be shocked if the mods were just 50cc worth of over-bore.

Don't worry, it's not.
Larger pistons, carrillo con rods, higher compression, different camshaft profiles, different carbs and fueling, intake and exhaust porting, larger valves, different exhaust, its all modified to work together. All you have to do is decide what you want to build, and Hord has a variety of options to get you there with a Hawk GT.
