For possible fuel pump leak, I'm sort of surprised as they estimate less than 1% of the bikes are affected.

haven't yet received the notice for my 2010 S1000.  that bike runs like a top and
pulls scary hard.  only problem so far has been failed LHS switch block ... replaced
under warranty.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.
