Hi all.
My name is Darren, and i seem to have caught a case of "ohcrapgottagetamonster".
I live in Southern British Columbia and have been riding since i was a kid, and have spent the last twenty years trying to make a certain American made lardy-arse brand more grin inducing.

Seems I need a change, and it just looks like you Monster kids have waaayyyy too much fun.

So,with the nod from "She Who Must Be Obeyed" i am on the hunt for an S2R to call my own.

'Til then i'm just going to prowl and learn as much as i can.

Don't be afraid to ask the board opinions on S2Rs you see for sale.  Down here in the states there is a wide range of prices for them: I've seen from mid-$5k to $10k, often with no distinguishing difference other than sentimental value and the desire to recover what the previous owner spent on aftermarket goodies.  But there are definitely deals out there (or, er...out here, at least).

The more time i'm spending on this site looking and absorbing the more i'm starting to realize how 'quirky' S2R's can be.

Well, guess i've gone and done it!
A buddy has sold me his 2005 S2R 800. I'll pick it up once the snow has receded a bit.

I am one excited puppy.

Guess i'll be excommunicated from the cult of Milwaukee now
