Awesome!  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

I'm taking notes. I've got a similar trek in the works, though with far fewer border crossings and no MotoGP race.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

You are living on of my dreams!  What a great trip [thumbsup]

Just remember..as you head south all of those perfectly planned and orderly German roads gradually give way to the "organized chaos" that is Italy.  Be safe and enjoy!     [moto]

edit:  I just noticed that you are ending only a few hours from Bologna.  And you aren't going to make the pilgrimmage to the factory?   ;)

Hello Ducatisti, friends and colleges.
I just arrived down in Munich after a great weekend in the dark eastern part of Germany.
Actually it was not dark at all..more friendly and open and really cheap as well.
I skip the traveling part from Berlin because  absolutely nothing happened but Nic and myself riding the highway in the early morning, very relaxed...like this

We checked in into our little BnB home and went straight to the track.
Man is it huge ! Its a frigging village within two other villages !
We had to park among the other low lives way back behind the tent town and so we marched towards the main gates

This is the camping site on the hill and I guess those guys already did 294626527 liters of booze the night before...minimum

There were about 10 trucks with video walls standing across the tribunes and this one was showing the Coke Zero spot...had to take the pic

Those tribunes are stunning metal constructions with the worlds best garbage disposal system...just drop it below yourself ...and this was Saturday morning only [popcorn]

I tried to talk to the security bulldogs to let us take a sneak peak into the paddock, but he was strangely uncooperative, even with a logo like this !

That was the closest we could come to the pit lane so we decided to find a nice spot to see the 125cc.

We found it at the exact other side of the ring...total relaxed, no people, we were sitting on old snad and straw bags and watched the kids fly by

ZEE GERMANS ! Feed em beer and make them happy...

This is the view from the Ducati tribune. Lorenzo crashed just right in front of us...what a pity  [cheeky]

Well...it went well in the end and "we" won the third in a row ... HURRA DUCATI  [thumbsup]
But as great as the bikes were...the best was the super side cars.
Those guys ride 1000cc Suzi engines in modified space ships and it was a slide and slip fest...just great to watch...here a pic from the winners on the extra lap...fireworks provided by track stewards from Finland I guess

Sunday afternoon, the last thing to do was to find a way through the 200.000 wet, drunken people on our way home...It was GREAT !  [beer]

The morning after we split and Nic went home to Berlin, I continued down to Munich.
I was really lucky and had zero rain today. The Autobahn around "Vogtland" is just great, three lanes, nicely bending around the landscape and no speed limit at all. Bring your S4Rs and 1098s and have a great time before they put up more 130 signs.
The Monster went ery well and, oh boy, I love my DP comfort seat...totally worth the money .
1200 km so far...more to come  [moto]

Good morning ,
another beautiful sunny day in the best part of Germany just started.
Down here in Bavaria the air is sweet as pie, the girls are more sexy and funny than anywhere else and the streets are just built to give us a pleasant ride on the monsters...day by day.
This is just 10 minutes from here...

Early in the morning my motor cycle mentor Rüdiger and I saddled the horses and went for a pilgrim trip to "THE KESSELBERG ".
Its a legenday windy route in southern Bavaria on the way to austria, curvy, in the woods and just a perfect thrill ride if you want. Its so popular among riders, the police closed it on weekends and put up a speed limt (60kmh) and also you should not take over.....yeah...sure ;)  [evil]
Here is a video I found that shows this great street...just sit back and enjoy the save ride :

We did the track three to four times in both directions...wow...its a lot harder than it looks
This is Desmo Master Knobi-Wan and Padavan ArguZ on top of the hill

Count Knobi meditating over the meaning of the desmodromic circle of live and gas

After visiting some local food places we got enough energy to ride back home to Munich, not without having two stops to check his 600 Desmo for funny noises and stuff  [roll]
I went on another trip to visit my friend Gabriel in his studio watching the birth of some more great sound design.
Instaed of going out into a beer garden we spent the whole evening infront of the machines...of course

Today I will ride to the Lake of Constance at the Austrian and Swizz border and present the Monster to my mum..that will be fun  [moto]

Great pics....bummer the race was wet, but it looks like the weather has cooperated for the trip so far.  Your friend has a classic there, and the leathers to match  8)

Halfway there...
The ride from Munich to my mums place was the best one on the whole trip so far.
I told the TomTom to take me the shortest route and I could enjoy a lot of winding, small and traffic free roads in fantastic sunshine.

The next days i will relax and just take advantage of the southern german cuisine.
Cheers
