I put a set on the Misus 696 it had had a tail chop by the original owner
leaving no plate light.
As the  [leo] local Gestapo her in Oz will pull you over for anything I thought it wise.
They light the plate really well and act as plate holder as well , also an easy splice in to the
loom as the power to the light was easy to access.  [thumbsup]

They are just right for the plate, but mine were a little blue'ish - might make sure they are white.

I always felt they looked kinda "cheapish". A tail light with integrated plate light and turn signals looks much tougher on our bikes IMHO.

Thanks for all the replies. I should've been more clear, though; I was referring to the rear-facing LEDs, not so much the plate light. I'm still looking for more subtle ways to illuminate the rear.

Illuminate your bike or extra rear facing running lights?

If running lights, then something like this  http://www.bikevis.com/motorcycle-led-running-lights.html
Add their shivering modulator for a little extra attention.

I'm looking for rear-facing running lights. Those could definitely work (bith front and rear). Thanks for the link!

I've been kicking around getting those for a while but I can't figure out how to mount them.
My fast lap is your sighting lap.

That's my only reservation. The way the wires come out, the main option is to drill a hole, which I'm not excited about. Wondering if it's possible to carve enough of a channel so the wires can run to the rear?
