Whoa!!  This is a surprising turn of events!!  Can't wait to see it on the bike and maybe some bigger pics...especially of the finished product.  Looks good from far  [clap] [laugh]

Sorry about the small pic - here's a larger version of the finished item.

M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

I see what you're saying about the red stitching.  Not show quality but A+ for DIYness and saving some $$$

Have you tried it on yet??

Nice work. I wonder how many hours you have into it. I bet a number of members would be into getting one done, especially if sold at under $250.

Thanks guys! I would say it was about 2 hours of work total. Not worth it for me to do professionally unless I bought a new sewing machine which would be $$$ but fun to imagine doing it full time!

Who said it needs to be full time? Two hours ain't nothin. A customer could have a seat done and returned in like 3-5 days for like $150. Do a half dozen and bam, there's your compound drive walking footer.  [thumbsup]
Don't mean to be pushy, I just like supporting creative people.

Hehe well I guess you're right!  ;D

Here are a couple more pics on the bike. Please excuse the mess - I ceramic coated my headers and powder coated a load of other things, and tried to put them all back on tonight with varying degrees of success, because I am completely moto-ignorant:

That's a pretty sweet garage for someone who's "moto-ignorant" ;). Awesome job!

Oh - hah; it's the local community moto shop. You rent a lift by the hour, they do classes, that sorta thing. My 2nd time there and first time alone trying to get all those parts back!

The seat looks great!......nice work.

I have an old monster seat kicking around. I may see if I can't copy what you've done there. Thanks for the inspiration.
