I'll take better pics tomorrow. It looks fantastic from every angle
I was just wondering if from the side one can see all the guts of the speedo or if there is a cap or a housing that attaches to the carbon plate.

I'd like to see it a little higher, further back, tilted towards the rider and in a carbon bucket  8)

Gotcha. There isn't anything that actually hides it, and the carbon bracket is just a flat piece with a hole. I'll snap a pic that shows it tho, IMO it's very low profile and non offensive. The entire dash us very thin and has a nice looking spin lock ring.

With this setup I can see the way it's mounted makes sense, but if the tach was the main element I would want it looking me right in the face, like it is on my DB5R.

As low as my clip ons are, this actually does work very well. And I could have had the bracket angled but this really does work perfect and hides the wiring and brake hose clutter as well. Full spread of good pics to come...

Dash, dash bracket, dashboard, mismo. Glad you rubber mounted it, would vibrate like a pregnant dog if not.

sleeve bearings and grommets, nothing fancy. I flogged the fuq out of my 750 over Cleveland potholes and throughout the Ohio Valley twisties with the OE dash bolted directly to the triple with no issues, but whatev.

Yo Memper

Haven't hooked it up or cleaned the wiring up but what do you think? Once it's properly connected a thick piece of black heatshrink and a zip tie should look the business.

The snarl of wires obviously isn't going to remain like that. I'm happy with it, especially since not too many people are going to be on their knees looking up at it.

I'm gonna likely get banned pretty soon for taking your incessant baiting. But it's going to be worth it. For now though, gtfo my thread. I'd rather finish the bike before you get me booted. Thx.

Some "guy" just PM'd me to say I can't take "constructive" criticism. Because I'm sure that's what it was, lol. The bike isn't finished but I'll eat some crow for now, posting that crappy looking pic. Being the first time I've ever really built anything and all, and not paying someone else to build my entire bike like the guy doing the "constructive" criticising, I certainly have a lot to learn and improve on.
