Google search has shown some Ducatis have stickers both on the frame and under the seat.

Can anyone confirm if this is true for all S2R's?

I'm considering buying from out of California, and one I'm a few that look to have the frame sticker removed.

This was the second thing I removed off mine after the reflectors ..I'm pretty sure you are correct I do remember that there was one on the frame ...and a couple more else where ..seat seems to ring a bell but I think there was a third

The emissions sticker is the one they check. Everything else they looked at engine vin and frame vin. When the CHP inspected mine they didn't verify that the emissions equipment was intact, just the sticker.
M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

Thanks for the info so far.

Can anyone confirm that there exists, and if so, the placement of emissions stickers beyond the one on the trellis?

My 96 had the sticker under the seat. Every other Ducati I have had, the sticker was on the frame. I take them off and put them under the seat. If the bike doesn't have a sticker you can likely get documentation from Ducati that it meets emissions. All Ducati's are 50 state compliant for the last decade or so.

On my last Monster I removed all of the frame stickers and put them under the seat. When I traded it in on my current bike the dealer was happy to see them there.
