I like both the first ones...

I think it would be nice to develop a complete Ducati wiki cause although .org is the only available domain there isn't a Wiki out there yet for it just domain place holders. I've never been a fan of .net's just because no one ever remembers that it's a .NET but in this case the .com and .org are Wiki's for the movie Monsters from Pixar so not exactly closely related

IMO, monster and .org must appear. Monster because we are a Monster forum and .org to signify non-profit.

We can always have DucatiWiki.org as the main site and MonsterWiki.net refer to it.

You might be able to work out something with the owner of http://www.ducatiwiki.net

He's a nice guy. Right now it is optimized for the ST2/ST3/ST4 bikes, but has places for 851 and 888 as soon as I get around to adding some content there.

If you can keep from taking over the site, there would be room for Monster content, and there is a lot of information that is common to both lines.

Go check it out. There is already some good stuff on there.

Good call Scott... I just tried .com didn't think .net had a wiki...

Seems like everyone is wanting a monster specific, but I think things cross over so much that a Ducati one would be good enough to hold monster items as well...

There are two threads going on this subject.

The owner of ducatiwiki.net, Aldon Caron, is open to letting the Monster fanatics add to his existing wiki, which is currently aimed at the ST family, but has been set up to include 851 and 888 information (if I can get around to adding some stuff in that category).

He also mentioned that he was looking at letting the Multistrada guys add their stuff as well.

This is a great opportunity to create one unified Ducati wiki that would be truly useful to all Ducati riders, rather than having a bunch of separate ones for each model.

We need to seriously consider joining forces here.
