Vivaleduc and I were working on the rebirth of his 2006 Sport Classic recently and snapped a few pics of our continually evolving bike projects.

2006 Sport 1000 Monoposto
Mods so far:

• Custom vintage Gulf blue racing paint scheme
• Adjustable Showa front forks
• Ohlins steering damper kit
• Speedy Moto belt covers, clutch cover, springs and retainers
• Billet clutch pressure plate
• Racing brake pad upgrades
• Zard exhaust (not pictured)

• Custom tail chop and blinkers
• Powder coated and ceramic coated oil cooler and other engine bits

• Carbon: DP tank lined with Caswell Plating, custom paint scheme, DP tail, headlight bucket, headlight brackets, side radiator guards, key guards, chain guard...all cleared with uv guard
• Lowered headlight assembly below the triple with HID

Believe it or not, only decals on any of the bikes are on the 1098s!!   Everything on the Monster and SC are hand painted!!  Wish I had THAT talent

Couple of questions about the Sport 1000:

1) Where is the steering damper mounted? Couldn't see it in the pics.

2) What rearsets are those? They aren't mentioned in the mod list.
